Annual Temperature, Precipitation, and Daylight
The below chart contains the weather information that most golfers are interested in knowing when planning a trip to Australia. The data below is for Melbourne (Sand Belt). The temperatures in the Sydney area in the peak season are about the same although Syndey does get more rain. Tasmania has cooler peak season temperatures (by 5-10 degrees) than Melbourne but gets about the same amount of rain. Peak season in Australia for golf travel is January through March although the travel season is September through April. Weather is only one of the factors to consider when planning a trip. Be sure to get advice from your Golf Travel Advisor on the other factors (e.g., course closures and availability). Don't make the mistake of choosing your month of travel only based on the weather!
