Overview

Situated on the panoramic south coast of Sydney, this windswept seaside links was designed by Dr. Alister Mackenzie in 1928. Boasting probably the best scenery of Australia’s top courses, New South Wales ranks #46 on the 2020-2021 Golf Magazine World top-100 and #33 in the world by Golf Digest.

When you’re done playing New South Wales, you’ll think it’s a combination of Cypress Point and Torrey Pines. Located 45 minutes outside of town on the coast, in La Perouse, this club features an oceanside setting with wispy rough, blind spots, hilly terrain and some very tricky greens. The wind is almost always a major factor. It has a links feel to it but with some lush turf, and the 6th is an unusual island tee on a rock spit out in the ocean. Look for the shipwreck on the rocks, and remember to bring your camera!
