For 2026 St Andrews reduced the maximum group size for a single application from 8 to 4 golfers.

Each application can only include a maximum of 4 golfers. Should you have more than 4 golfers in your group, you will need to submit multiple applications (but not duplicates). We will advise on the best strategy for this prior to the application.
