Overview

The Castle Course in St Andrews is the youngest course in the legendary St Andrews Links Trust lineup. It opened in 2008 under the design of architect David McLay Kidd, transforming what was once farmland into a dramatic, cliff-top links course. The Castle Course is perched east of town atop rugged cliffs overlooking the North Sea, St Andrews Bay, and the historic old town — offering stunning panoramas that few courses can match. The course features undulating fairways and some of the trickiest, most dramatic greens in all of Scotland.
