Oitavos Dunes

Set on the Atlantic coast, with sets of tees from about 5,000 to 6,900 yards, the Oitavos Dunes GC is a challenging and exciting links course built through the Portuguese umbrella pines that was designed by Arthur Hills. It is among the top courses on any Portugal golf package and was ranked #55 in the world by Golf Magazine in 2017.  Hotel guests and players can use the driving range, short game area and two putting greens nearby the hotel.

Oitavos Dunes has a nice modern clubhouse with a great restaurant and balconies with tables overlooking the course and the ocean. Past site of The Portuguese Open on the European Tour, the pro’s rank it among their favorite European continent golf courses. This is a very fun links under the sun, on the glorious Estoril coast about an hour from central Lisbon.
