Gleneagles-PGA Centenary course will once again host another major championship, the 2019 Solheim Cup.  Gleneagles located just 75 minutes west of St. Andrews and one hour north of Edinburgh is one of Scotland’s many famous courses.  Nicola Sturgeon, Scotland’s first minister, described the announcement as “tremendous news, not only for golf tourism and events in Scotland but for Scotland as a whole”.  Gleneagles was recent host of the 2014 Ryder Cup.
