Pioneer did a marvelous job planning a golf trip to Scotland for four of us in July 2023. After working with us to select and schedule courses we played, they arranged lodging in St. Andrews and a rental van that we used for transportation. Tee times and caddies were reserved for us at the Kingsbarnes, Castle, Old Course, and Trump Turnberry Ailsa golf courses, all of which were great experiences. Lodging was a bed and breakfast cottage, just right for 4 people and within easy walking distance of the 18th green on the Old Course. The couple running the B&B couldn’t have been nicer. Their breakfasts were delightful, and they bent over backwards to accommodate our early departures on two mornings. Furthermore, we shipped golf clubs from Houston directly to the B&B and they made sure our clubs were in our cottage when we arrived at 7pm with a tee time at 7am the next morning. All the way from the early planning stage to the final detailed daily agenda, Pioneer’s trip coordination team did a great job of communicating with us to work out all the details. The information they shared with us regarding living and driving in Scotland was also very helpful. Everything worked out just as planned and the weather for us was exceptionally nice.
